Ministry of Finance – Solar System Management and Installation on Government Buildings

As part of a national initiative to promote sustainability and energy efficiency within the public sector, Green Energy was selected to lead one of the Ministry of Finance’s flagship projects: the installation of solar systems on the rooftops of government buildings across Israel.

The project included strategic planning, full permitting, and the installation of 16 active solar systems with a total capacity of 1.6 megawatts. These systems were designed to generate clean electricity for the buildings’ self-consumption, directly and significantly reducing the government’s electricity expenses.

The first phase involved conducting comprehensive technical and engineering feasibility assessments for each property, detailed engineering design, and coordination with all regulatory bodies – including the Electricity Authority, the Israel Electric Corporation, and local municipalities.
We then managed the complex permitting process and complete execution on-site, while maintaining the highest professional standards.
